Start your career with OSL

Once you join the OSL family, you’ll be assigned to one of our great partner companies. One of the Canadian companies we staff for is Bell.

Bell Canada’s Company Background

In the mid-1870s, Canadian Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone. Bell had it patented in both the USA and Canada. In 1879, his father sold the patent rights to the National Bell Telephone Company. This eventually became the Bell System, a group who provided phone services to the US and Canada. In 1968, the Bell Telephone Company of Canada was renamed to simply Bell Canada. In 1975, Bell Canada broke off from its affiliates in the Bell System and became its own company. If you called Bell Canada today, they’d be able to offer you home phone, tv, and internet service.

/ Bell Sales Representative

Many of our employees will start out as residential sales representatives. This means you’ll be out in the community talking to people and explaining all of the great services Bell has to offer. This can include tv, internet and home phone. This job is entirely remote, and you won’t have a designated location to go to every day as it is always changing. Every day is a new experience!

One of the really cool aspects of this job is you’ll have the opportunity to check out residential development sites and meet builders, sales and décor staff and potential customers. You might even attend some new home builder events! The builder may provide you with a lead list to work from, and you’ll be on the lookout to find new opportunities of your own. You’ll also document and submit all of your sales orders and help develop marketing strategies for the brand.
